This is off topic to your question but my experience with the hopper style feeders is not great. My cat, whose only ambition in life is morbid obesity, has figure out that if he just bumps the hopper, it will pay out a bit of food. He will do this all day for the first few days I'm away and then starve the rest of the days. Left with no food and a belly absolutely stuffed with kibble, he shows me his extreme dissatisfaction by leaving angry old man shits all over my basement. Better luck to you.
