Qatar calls on international community to confront Jenin violations In a statement, Qatar’s Foreign Ministry says it considers Israel’s ongoing operations in Jenin a “flagrant violation of international humanitarian law and human rights”. It called on the international community to “assume its responsibilities in confronting these violations” and to work to ensure full protection of civilians. Israel’s major raid of the refugee camp has stretched on for three days, with at least 12 Palestinians killed and wide-scale destruction of property reported.
