Joint sponsorship Glasgow-based brewers Tennent's were the primary commercial sponsor of both teams for several years; any local business that only sponsored one would likely lose half its customers. Previously, glazing company CR Smith (who later had a deal with Celtic alone), communications firm NTL and English brewers Carling had also sponsored both clubs.

@mekkaokereke not the same thing at all but it reminds me of companies in Glasgow, Scotland who refuse to pick one side of the sectarian divide.
