A tall waterfall drops from a steep granite ledge. Further back another cascade can be seen, the canyon filled with debris and obstacles. The surrounding forest is lush with ferns, cedar, and Douglas fir trees. Ferns and moss cling to the edges of the granite while the waterfall has stripped most of the granite clean.

From on of my favorite local parks, this is just one of three impressive waterfalls that can be photographed here. It's a truly gorgeous location to explore.
The upper falls are the first major cascade at the top of the park, with access further upstream difficult and very dangerous to access.
