Using AI to distract from structural problems while failing to deliver actual solutions follows a similar pattern. The only thing these algorithms will do is filter and classify groups of people to blame for the way AI itself degrades the already shoddy state of public services. The double whammy that comes with AI is the way that the industry itself is a catalyst for more extreme right ideologies.
