   I got this coffee table book as a birthday surprise.

   Syd Mead is the unsung hero of Scifi (he recently passed away). He designed the futuristic world of Alien, Blade Runner, Tron and more.

   I did not know, that he was involved in Star Trek The Motion Picture (he designed V'ger). Great book.
