Does anyone know if there's a site for ordering CDs that works like bookshop.org works for books?
boost appreciated
If you're an #Author, who, like my wife, is searching for an #Amazon alternative to #SelfPublish your work, here's what she's found:
https://draft2digital.com/
Is a self-publishing platform that let's you choose which marketplaces you sell to. Soon this will include bookshop.org, which is my personal favorite.
https://ficstack.com/
Organizes #SubStack posts to aid in author discovery. I think you can set up monetization options on your associated substack.
@700Sachen du meinst evtl https://bookshop.org/ - wo Erlöse an ausgewählte lokale Buchladen ausgeschüttet werden.
Ist m. W. aber nur in den USA verfügbar.
I finally finished Careless People, and I can start Lessons in Magic and Disaster. I've been looking forward to it for ages (and I was very thankful to find a DRM-free epub on bookshop.org)
The Book Burrow folks are in Exhibitor Tent #2 on Congress.
They are a wonderful bookshop in Pflugerville, Texas who are welcoming to all.

They also have a storefront on BookShop.org that we always check first when buying physical books and even ebooks now.

I picked up a "blind date with a genre" set of 4 SciFi books (see alt text). Their Blind Date bundles are a great way to discover new authors.
The first page of Chapter 6 of Timothy Snyder's book, On Tyranny.
See previous posts in this thread for more info, including the opening text from previous chapters.
Please boost to maximize reach. 🙂
bookshop.org has the ebook for $7 and the paperback for $11.
