Three skulls on a curio shelf: a life-size one, a half-size, and a miniature. The life and half size are molded plastic or resin painted to look real; the life-size skull, who is the Original Slim, looks weathered and aged, and appears the most real. He’s wearing wayfarer-type sunglasses with clear plastic frames and lightly mirrored lenses. Mid-sized Slim Jr. looks like the Halloween prop he is, with obviously black-painted eye sockets and nose hole. Tiny Slim is carved from blue stone stone (forgive me, the name of the stone eludes me, but it’s marble-ish) and is not even half the size of Slim Jr. The three are arranged side-by side, as if they’re an otherworldly singing trio.
