   traditionally we regulated free speech by eschewing prior restraint but using torts and the judicial system to impose some accountability ex post.

   it was a good balance! lawsuits are risky and costly so you could speak pretty freely, but outrageous threat and defamation were deterred. 1/

   @Npars01 @knittingknots2 my comment was actually a response to another boost, but i posted it on the wrong post.

   it was the one about how H-1Bs suck and leave americans behind. the story says Trump should start deporting immigrants. don't just boost a story because H-1Bs suck. they don't. it's nativism no matter what side you're on.
