   I boost stories for lots of reasons.

   In this particular case, it was as a warning to prepare.

   A "Heads up!" advance notice gives us all time to mount a defense & protests.

   Fund a legal defense league to hire lawyers like the ACLU or Marc Elias's Democracy Docket.

   Fund a public relations campaign to defend immigrants.

   For example, Corrie ten Boom used her time to build a Hiding Place from the Nazis.
