   There were other people and dogs on the beach, and we were all staying away from the water, but this wave just got us only. By the time I got back to the stairs, the other people had all left except for one who saw and wanted to make sure we were ok.

   I lost my phone and Zora's leash, but shockingly nothing else (including my earbuds which I'm trying to dry out)

   I managed to get home (thankfully I knew how to get home because my phone is gone) and now I can't stop shaking.

   I took a hot shower and don't really know what to do with myself. The dog seems totally fine but I don't know what I should be watching for. Thankfully she didn't seem to ingest any water because no vomiting.

   So like... how do I go on with my day now?
