   Tonight is the longest night, and tomorrow will be the shortest day.

   Solstices and equinoxes.

   These events were recognized by thinking intelligent apes in Asia, Africa, Europe, and the Americas, separated only by time and distance, as they unraveled the mysteries of the universe and built civilizations.

   So I celebrate #Solstice as an #Atheist

   It is a time to reflect and recognize what was built but see what we can still change for a better future, together as thinking intelligent apes.
