In #JapaneseFolklore tofu kozo is a #yokai appearing as a young boy wandering around the streets offering tofu on a plate. Because he is basically harmless the other yokai bully him for his weakness and he gets no respect at all. He tends to act as a servant for the other more powerful yokai. In rare cases he will follow someone home on a rainy night, but in order to avoid any confrontation he will quickly disappear once his 'victim' reaches their home.
