Images showing three different types of networks: (A) Centralized: A single central "hub" with connections to all other nodes. (B) Decentralized: A number of "backbone" nodes which connect to each other, and minor nodes connecting to the backbone nodes. (C) Distributed: A large number of nodes which are more or less equal, each linking to their immediate neighbors.
