Two bushes with medium-sized green, glossy leaves in large black, plastic pots. The bushes have a few white flowers on them. Poking out in the left background you can see the too of a small black metal garden chair with an orange insert. That is where I am sitting at a table, eating breakfast.

   I am sitting in our small back garden eating breakfast and surrounded by the gorgeous fragrance of gardenias.

   These gardenias are about 7 years old. It is the best flowering they have had since we moved them from Sydney to Melbourne. I put that down to the fact that we moved them into bigger pots over the last 6 months or so. Previously they were drying out very quickly whereas now I can give them a good water and leave them for a few days.
