 Hello my friends this is just a quick one to let you know that I'll be speaking at axe-con 2025 I'm really excited to be speaking at this event because it always has great speakers it always has top notch talks and it's free and online so anyone can attend uh and in case you don't know me already I'm Laura Kalbag I'm a designer and a developer as well as being the co founder of a not for profit organisation called Small Technology Foundation I'll be opening the design track on the second day with a brand new talk called Design for Everyone uh do you get it? it's a take on my book from 2017 accessibility for everyone I'll be talking about the pitfalls of designing in the tech industry today and how we can better respect our users rights as well as designing more accessibly I'll be covering not just mindsets and approaches to these kinds of tasks but also some practical guidelines and hopefully whether you are a seasoned designer uh or brand new to design you'll get something out of this talk I mean whether you're a designer or not a designer at all I hope to make everyone feel welcome and be able to get something out of this talk so see you in 2025!
