   I have just started reading "When the Clock Broke", John Ganz' new history of the proliferation of white supremacist conspiracists in the United States in the late 1980s and early 1990s, many of whom we are still having to deal with: https://us.macmillan.com/books/9780374605445/whentheclockbroke/

   Unsurprisingly; Ganz starts with Reagan's election and presidency because it contributed to that too.
