   Prostitution Research and Education is the ONLY independent nonprofit research institute focused on prostitution, trafficking, and pornography in the world.
   
   For 30 years PRE has been run by Dr. Melissa Farley, whom I am honored to have gotten to know this year. Melissa is an absolute powerhouse. She is unyielding in her dedication to the abolition of prostitution and relentless in her work.
   
   They have published some of the most important studies on prostitution and pornography of our time, including most recently a paper demonstrating that what happens every day in so-called "sex work" meets the legal definition of torture.
   
   But funding for this kind of work is drying up. Most so-called "progressive" organizations have sold out to the pimps and pornographers and don't want to see this kind of research come to light.
   
   That's why I'm asking my friends and followers here to please consider supporting PRE this #GivingTuesday. This is a tiny organization with a MASSIVE impact, and they need your help to keep doing this work in 2025.
   
   If every one of my followers on Spinster donated only $8.70, PRE would meet their funding goal overnight and could get back to focusing on their work.
