   Some days I think about how for the last 15 years, every day was defined by what Cookie needed. She brought me out of the house a few times a day, she snacked, ate, slept, and loved the world (and me) so vociferously.

   I didn't know I would love this upside down puppy so much, even when she was no longer a puppy.

   I miss her a lot and it's sad, but we also had a ball of a time together for a very long time.
