The newsie with the great grin makes a reappearance in this one, beneath a jetpack flyer taken from a 1928 *Amazing Stories* cover by R Frank Paul. The control panel is one of several midcentury electronics consoles I've spent idle hours cropping out (this one comes from a Schlitz ad depicting a HAM radio enthusiast). The hypnotic head is from the October, 1953 cover of *Doll-Man*, likely by Reed Crandall.
