When you *get* something, it's new and exciting. When you *have* something, you take it for granted and it's boring. Hobbes: But everything you *get* turns into something you *have*. Calvin: That's why you always need to get new things! Hobbes, with arm outstretched, palm (or paw?) open, waving: I feel like I'm in some stockholder's dream. Calvin, looking satisfied: "Waste and want", that's *my* motto.
