Old and boring: Slap a label on 2 display boxes and ship those things for arrival withing 90 days, in some condition or another.
Today's hotness: Place the display box inside of a shipping box, which is inside of another shipping box "made to fit your order," which is inside of a larger shipping box containing 2 sets of these (because you ordered 2 of them, this is efficient). Slap the label on that thing. Arrives at your door within minutes to hours.
As any gamer will tell you, cardboard armor is lousy. You can't even sell that junk to a vendor.
@dalias @ireneista @mjg59 10baseT is extremely straightforward from an electrical perspective, to the point that given some time I could decode and synthesize waveforms with a pencil and paper.
100baseTX is complex enough you really wouldn't want to do it by hand, but still well within the point of where you can learn the basics of in a few hours.
As far as "anything reasonable" as someone doing test and measurement equipment design I'd somewhat disagree... in metrology work you can easily saturate tens of Gbps with digitized analog data.
