Early morning in the forest. Tall hemlocks grow on a leaf scattered incline, some of their lichen covered branches having fell off. Near some of their bases are moss and exposed roots. A clump of hemlocks further up the hill can be seen in full and their green canopy is lit up like a bright fog by the sun penetrating their boughs.
