A large fruiting of dark gray - black slightly bulbous finger-like mushrooms growing out of the detritus near a dead tree trunk. Many are silo shaped while others are warped and bowling pin shaped. They have cracked stubby ends and are tightly packed together. Each is approximately 2 inches high.
