A young, lean white cat with several portions of orange fur on their tail, paws, and face (where it kind of forms a ginger goatee) reluctantly faces my camera and poses for a photo. Its eyes are bright yellow — one of them is half closed, and the other is wide open. The cat is sitting on a dislodged hexagonal sidewalk stone, placed in a poorly maintained area of a public building under renovations, full of weeds and broken stones.
