Nurse: Hmm, so the pain doesn't seem to be from eating. Do you think you clench your jaw when sleeping? Person: No. It never hurts when I wake up. It's just a random thing. I'll be going through my day like normal and suddenly my jaw really hurts. Nurse: I'll take these notes to the doctor and they will see you in about fifteen minutes.
