Red-tailed hawks have white bellies and chests with brown mottling across the waist, rust-red tails with a white and dark barred underside, brown back, wing, and head feathers with white markings, dark eyes, black beaks with a yellow nostril, yellow legs and feet with long, sharp, black talons.
