   When you attack #maga, whatever you do, don’t shame people for feeling good.

   When you want to break an #addiction, the route to success is almost never direct, but finding a distraction.

   Charismatic #populism hooks people into a narrative of self-aggrandicising heroism, and then tells whatever lies it needs to keep them there. The feeling, the affect, validates the transaction. Facts aren’t central at all.

   The only place where an intervention might succeed is outside the pepe-zone.
