    This is what Sverdlikovo in Russia's Kursk region looks like now. Russian troops are destroying their own towns and villages.

    Russians are unable to bring the village back under their control, so they are turning it into a "scorched earth". They are systematically pelting Sverdlikovo with KABs and 120-mm mines.
