A ruby crowned kinglet clings to the side of a dry plant stem and leans to the left of frame with beak pointing out that way. They are a very small greenish grey bird with a tiny red patch on the top of their head. They have tinges of yellow along their undersides, a little black beak, and a shiny black eye. The plant stem is covered in spider webs
