So how do you stop a machine outside the network from influencing anything happening inside it? And this solution is this weird topology, so I was thinking how you might do it without specialized hardware like mentioned in https://social.fbxl.net/objects/f67daf44-29c4-487a-9d82-419562ea9c87 :

   That's kind of interesting. So you don't *want* the outside network to do anything to your MTU size. Zero incoming information.
