   Day 5 of #Inktubre2024 has the prompt Khaki/Botanical. I wrote something short about the late Philippine botanist Dr. Leonard Co. He was the foremost authority in ethnobotany in the Philippines during his lifetime. He curated a checklist called Co's Digital Flora, an online guide listing more than 10,000 plants indigenous to the Philippines. He was killed by the AFP while examining a tree in the forests of Leyte, in an alleged crossfire incident in 2010.
