   Renton, Wash. — A suspect accused of slaughtering a 65-year-old veteran with a butcher knife was released one day after his arrest by Seattle-area Judge Michele Gehsen on a low $50,000 bond and no electronic monitoring. Prosecutors had asked for $2m bail.
   
   Renton detectives say suspect K'Shawn Konscience Jimerson was caught on surveillance video chasing the victim and hitting him on the head with a club before using the knife to kill him.
