   i don't understand this city.

   my street is covered in trash most days. the sidewalk has feces because noone picks up after their dogs here and the street people track it everywhere. i hose down the sidewalk in front of my place a few times a week.

   we might get one pass a day from the community benefit district, if the dude assigned to the street feels like tackling it. we'll get a sidewalk power wash 2-4 times a year, randomly. when they do, the power wash crew usually does the sidewalk in front of a few buildings and is on their way.

   i had to email matt dorsey daily for a month to get even that level of cleaning.

   however, the power wash crews have done my entire block every morning at 7 am for the last 4 days.

   like, why all of a sudden? and why not 6th Street, which needs it even more?
