I feel like this should be posted and reposted and re-reposted every single day.
Martin Niemöller was a Christian and was basically on the side of the Nazis. He just didn't like the changes they made in the state appointed (Christian) religion and spoke out. His fate was softened compared to what many endured, yet he still ended up in prison.
People on the right think they are safe from... the right. They are not. I guarantee your personal religion is not the same as what would be law.
