    If we are talking about a group of people, then individual cases no longer matter, aggregate cases do. I don't need to imply it: the average person weighs more at 30 than they did at 20. I see a photo of myself at 20 and I look like I escaped from a concentration camp. It's not the case for *everyone* but it is the case for most people, and if we are looking at aggregates and drawing inferences, then we look at the typical case.

    I am saying that everyone aged by nine years and that the audience for the first conference is not necessarily the second, and that it is possible to ruin a joke.
