Streetartwall. A very elaborate mural of a dancing girl in a red dress has been sprayed onto a five-storey modern apartment building. The background consists of a jumble of comic-like skyscrapers and airplanes. The girl with short black hair dances barefoot next to a long green plant between the skyscrapers. The figure dances the taranta, a traditional dance of the region, and moves around the agave, which blooms only once in its life, marking both the time of its death and the time of its rebirth by a new generation of plants emerging from its roots. Info: The title of the mural "To chorèsci tze cinùria zoì" is in grico, a national recognized language based on the mix of Greek and local dialect spoken in this southern part of Italy.
