Red doors, closed. There are little metal parts bolted downwards from the doors that secure them into the step. This stops the doors vibrating.

   On modern trains with lots of doors, the door design especially at the bottom of doors, is crucial. Stadler doors have these little hooks that secure them at the bottom. Less vibration, less movement when pressure changes. So a quieter ride!
