   Starlink satellites are deliberately designed to leak radio emissions & to lack longevity.

   No one considers whether this is deliberate.

   Play along with this thought experiment: military & economic strategy.

   1. A satellite with built-in obsolescence & then it joins an increasingly dense miasma of near-Earth space junk, becomes a navigational hazard for every other space-capable competitor.
