Mid-city street, Aarhus, an overcast day. We’re standing on a narrow concrete path. Left: the road ahead; cars; a cyclist in the bike lane; yellow-brick and red-brick buildings; a crossroads with traffic lights. Immediately where we're standing on the shabby weed-covered grey path, to our right: two worn grey stone steps up to an old white door in the narrow porch of a building. The narrow porch side-wall in front of us is shabby and dark grey. Big sections have fallen off in chunks, leaving big holes that expose dirty white brick. Some excellent person has seen the coincidental shape created. They’ve drawn around the holes with black lines, beautifully turning them in to a fin de siècle woman in long skirts, with a bustle and a fancy top-knot hair-do and a haughty expression. She is about half a metre tall. From this angle, the woman is standing in the porch, looking out at the street, ready to step out and surprise the next pedestrian who comes along unawares.
