   And sometimes, when you're not staring directly at something, you get past the tunnel vision that makes it impossible to see its edges, fracture lines, and weak points.

   So I'm working on the book. It's a book about *platforms*, because enshittification is a phenomenon that is most visible and toxic on platforms.

   So many toots and blog posts and pod casts and op-eds about why the American Media both sides everything and never calls Trump out for his word salad and basically cowers before the Nazis promoting and normalizing their talking points.

   So few pointing out that if the owner class owns the companies that employ the journalists, there is a simple and succinct explanation for their behaviour that doesn't rely on them all having the same lack of spine at the exact same time in the exact same way.

   Someone's referenced on Mastodon's Bulgarian Wikipedia page a post that I wrote in my personal website in December 2022 called What Is #Mastodon?

   This reminded me that for the last year, I've been meaning to write another one, this time not only in Bulgarian, but in English too, to elaborate further on the #Fediverse and its strong points.

   So please help me out here.
