   Today I learned that live action segments of The Banana Splits show were directed by Richard Donner, who went on to make The Omen, Superman and The Goonies. Also of note, a largely complete torrent of The Banana Splits has recently materialised.

   Uh-oh, Chongo, it's Danger Island next!
