   There was a (now-defunct) startup that claimed you could become an ISP for $25K. They have a useless page that doesn't mention that anymore (https://joinnecto.com/).

   There's this 'financial model'/guide probably written by AI where the total cost is $176K (https://finmodelslab.com/blogs/how-to-open/how-to-open-internet-service-provider).

   Of course, pricing depends on how many users you want to serve. If you want to become an ISP just for yourself or your family, probably $15K-ish (upfront) I'd say, with some recurring $$$-$$$$/mo costs.
