* All City-provided, outdoor seating areas will be available for outdoor dining for the community in all public access and public seating areas. For the public areas, city staff ordered seating blocks (that can be re-arranged), round café tables (that cannot be connected) and bar-height seating with tabletop space (that can be connected for larger groups). The furniture ordered by the city will set up the space INITIALLY and have seating ready for the community to use once construction is done. * An individual business wishing to utilize space in the newly constructed area for its exclusive use will enter into a license agreement with the city and have the ability to implement its own furnishings (including tables, chairs, umbrellas, supplemental lights, heaters, etc.) as long as they meet city guidelines (being drafted). * Businesses meeting the requirements of the license agreement with the city and associated standards will be able to add seating, including seating for larger groups. City staff will further engage with G Street businesses to work out these details. City staff will also start working to seek new grants or other fund sources that may be utilized to make future enhancements to the space over time.
