Here's a true story I've always loved: Late in her life, Shelley Winters was asked to AUDITION for a project... and as if that wasn't disrespectful enough, she was told to be sure to bring along her headshot and resume. Winters arrived toting a huge carpetbag and when asked if she'd brought her photo and resume for them, she opened her bag, took out her first Academy Award and, placing it in the table before them, said, "Here's my photo"... and doing the same with her SECOND Oscar, said, "And here's my fucking resume.”
