   1. Some things have be restricted, if you saw the books they burned alot of it was the same tripe we're dealing with today, others were things they viewed as being insulting twords thier veterans and culture
   2. The opposition was useless conservative and Mensheviks (that being the internationalist wing of the USSR before Stalin got rid of them)
   3. Actually no, they only got rid of around 10% of cops from what became the Gestapo
   4. These dissidents were mostly either people bitching about the war (Which America also did), or commies
   5. They opened up guns laws from Weimar infact
   6. Killing wasn't uber common, even fucking Magnus Hirshfield wasn't put down (sadly)
