Thick plastic bags; single use beverage containers including coffee cups; plastic confetti; polystyrene food and beverage containers; plastic balloon sticks and ties, single use plastic takeaway containers; plastic food bag ties; plastic barrier bags used for fruit, veg, nuts, confectionery.

South Australia is always a bit ahead of the rest. More plastics banned.
SA began by banning plastic bags in 2009, the first state in Australia to do so. Every couple of years SA targets more plastic items. Most other states are at least 10 years behind SA.
