Traveling southwestward from Delhi, Yoshida stopped at the citites of Ajmer and Jaipur in the present-day Indian state of Rajasthan. Both of his prints of these cities depict activity around the high gates through which people and traffic entered or left the walled cities. In Amjer Gate, Jaipur, he includes two elephants departing from the city through the weathered stone gate. AltText from link in post
