A fucking batshit heat map style data visualisation of “where is the US currently placed in the Olympics” based on a weighted sum of gold, silver and bronze medals. On the x-axis the weight of silver to bronze is varied, on the y-axis the weight of gold to silver is varied. Lower left corner is essentially what the US usually reports, and has the US in first place, right hand corner is what the rest of the fucking planet uses and had the US in sixth. It is stupid.
