A photo of a BIC quad-colour pen from sometime in the mid 80s. It has a fat blue barrel, selectable colours (red and black shown, but blue and green on the lower side). The plastic around the selection part at the top is white. They're still sold today, some completely unchanged. This one however contains the patina of the ages.

   Found this pen in mum's pen drawer last night along with a thousand other things that fell through from the 80s*. it'd have been mine from high school, I might not have touched it since I was 16.

   My first thought was "ooh this is going straight to the retro desk!" which is where it sits now.

   So here's me realising I have become an Australian stereotype. "This... is going straight to the pool room"

   *Yes I know they're still made, but this particular one fell through time from then to now.
